Faz algum tempo que eu não ouvia o "Nightfall in Middle-Earth", CD do Blind Guardian baseado no "Silmarillion", do Tolkien. É o melhor CD da banda. O trecho a seguir é da música Time Stand Still (At the Iron Hill) e refere-se ao meu episódio predileto na obra do Tolkien (cuidado, spoiler a seguir). Após a Dagor Bragollach, o rei dos Noldor, Fingolfin, cavalga furioso até o refúgio de Morgoth (o "Deus Negro", o mais poderoso dos Valar) e o desafia sozinho para um combate. Apesar de ferir Morgoth, Fingolfin perece nesta batalha. A música conta esta história.
